Whether you've participated recently or haven't participated in a while, here at the Raine Study we always consider our participants part of the Raine Study family.

We’re excited to be planning a new follow-up that will include both Generation 1 and Generation 2 participants.

We know the terms and labels we use here at the Raine Study may be confusing.

So to clear it up, Generation 1 is the biological parents of the original Raine Study babies. Generation 2 is the term we use for those original Raine babies who are now all grown up.

For the 2023 follow-up, both Generation 1 and Generation 2 will be included.

As we start to prepare for our 2023 follow-up, you may notice we'll be actively reaching out to participants to make sure we have all of our contact details in order.
